Father Clair Watrin, CSB has served in many roles including parish work, secondary and postsecondary teaching and 15 years as a missionary in Saint Lucia. He is the founder of the Live-In Retreat movement, helped establish Catholic Christian Outreach at the University of Saskatchewan and served as the chaplain at the Way of Holiness Retreat Centre in Hinton, Alberta. Father Clair went to his heavenly home in the spring of 2024.

Peter van Kampen is a writer, a youth pastor, a former program coordinator at Our Lady Of Victory Summer Camp, a father and a husband. He lives in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and has also organized and participated in several mission trips. Peter’s enthusiasm for Jesus is contagious, as is the example he sets in how he lives his life, both of which are gifts for the students he works with and the readers who read his books.

Gwen is married to Deacon Ed Meding and they live in Hinton, Alberta. Her work on Year A, B, C Companion to the Sunday Readings Bible Study was an enormous task. It takes someone who has the heart that Gwen has to accomplish it, both in its magnitude and its quality. She followed this work up with “My Identity In Jesus Prayer Book”. Gwen has given retreats and presentations and can provide one in your home or parish or assist in those interested in starting a Bible Study Group.

Growing up in Alberta, Fr. Dan had many occupations before following his heart to the Franciscans Of Western Canada where he made his solemn profession in August of 2009. In January 2010 he was ordained a Catholic Priest. Fr. Dan has served in parishes and schools and from 2016 to 2025 at the Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre in Cochrane, Alberta. He is now located at the St. Joseph the Workman Parish in Richmond, British Columbia.

The best Christmas present Alice ever received was a small, yellow, manual typewriter when she was 14 years old and she has been writing ever since. She has a bachelors degree with honours in communication and worked for 30 years in a public communications role. She now divides her time between farming, sewing, writing and spoiling her grandchildren. Alice has a real heart for sharing the books and messages of love and family through Perpetua Press.

J. F. Rodrigo is a humble servant of God. Witness of Charity is his first book and book three in a five book study.
